Winning designs from one of our students

Darlene's designs, entitled "Calgary Bungalow" and Parkland Retreat" won 2nd and 3rd places respectively in the 2009 APLD Student Design Competition. The CAD drawings were produced in color, using AutoSketch.

Design Notes
Calgary Bungalow was designed as an upscale family garden for a couple with two children. Extensive and interesting outdoor living spaces that catered for the whole family were the main requirement.
Parkland Retreat is a 'natural habitat' garden for a site within a woodland environment. Whilst utilizing native plants and materials found naturally in the environs, the garden also offers shelter and food for local native insects and birds.
